Application Deadlines
Applications for admission are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications by February 1 (for fall) and November 1 (for spring) will be given priority consideration for merit scholarships. Enrollment fee deadline is May 1 for fall term ($500 for residential and $250 for commuters) and December 1 for spring term. A full refund is available to students who submit a written request to the Director of Undergraduate Admission postmarked by May 1 (December 1 for spring applicants)..

Complete the online application below. The Office of Admissions will not make a final decision on your application until all application materials are received.

 
Essay

An original 500-word typed essay must accompany your application. A box in which to upload your essay is included in this online application. Essay topics:

  1. Describe a family, cultural, or personal tradition that is meaningful to you. Explain why
  2. If you could spend a day with anyone (living, deceased, or imaginary), who would it be and why?
  3. If majoring in nursing or occupational therapy, write on the following topic: Tell us why you would like to major in nursing or occupational therapy and what contributions you see yourself making to the profession
Letter of Recommendation

One recommendation letter from school faculty, administrator, and/or counselor is required. Applicants who have been out of school for more than two years may submit a letter of recommendation from a professional colleague.

Official College Transcripts
Evergreen University of California requires official high school transcripts (six-semester minimum) or proof of equivalency. If you are admitted, successful completion of your senior year and an official copy of your final college transcript are required.
     
Test Results
To receive credit for Advanced Placement exams, please make sure all test results are reported to our institution are noted on your official high school transcript.
     
Transfer    
     
Transfer Requirements

An applicant is considered a transfer student if he/she has previously enrolled at an accredited college or university and completed a minimum of 23 transferable semester units or 36 transferable quarter units.
Evergreen University requires applicants to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 in transferable college units. Transfer students who have completed fewer than 24 transferable units must also meet the freshman admission requirements.

 
Official Transcripts
Evergreen University requires that an official copy of the transcript from each college and/or university attended be submitted with the application for admission. Evidence of high school completion is either an official college transcript or official! GED transcript.

Official Transcripts
Submit your application materials and your official transcripts (from each high school, college, and/or university attended) directly to Evergreen University , Office of Admissions. Your Transcript must be translated into English and be evaluated by an accredited evaluation company.
     
Test Results/English Proficiency
All applicants are required to submit official test scores from either the ACT, or TOEFL. Our English requirement is also satisfied by completing Level 112 at ELS Language Centers or the successful completion of 24 transferable semester units or 36 transferable quarter units at an English-speaking institution.

Declaration of Finances

Submit a notarized Declaration of Finances (usually a bank statement) in U.S.dollars.

Financial Aid    
     

Ninety percent of our entering students receive some form of financial aid. The University offers need-based aid, academic and athletic scholarships, and special awards created by alumni and other donors.

     
Financial Aid Applications

All students interested in applying for financial aid must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Apply online at evergreenuniversity@yahoo.com. Residents of California are also required to submit the GPA Verification form. The deadline is arch 2. Forms are available through your high school or college. If your would like Evergreen University to send you a copy of these forms, please contact the Office of admissions at (415) 385-6638. On your FAFSA, please remember to list Evergreen University of California (Code 001196) as a recipient of your information.
